I get that they'd all be bored of the Doublemeat palace food pretty quickly (especially if it's squished) but there's also a scene where Buffy comes home with fried chicken and Dawn is equally ungrateful.

They didn't have cell phones for a while let alone apps like Doordash/UberEats etc so if she went to a decent restaurant she'd have to sit there for 20 minutes waiting for the food to be made and more importantly Dawn seemed to completely ignore the fact that she went from a single parent household to just a sister who can't get get a high paying job for multiple reasons. it's annoying as hell.

At least with Willow & Tara, in a rare instance of headcanon I defend them by thinking that at least one of them worked at a bookshop or coffee shop while Buffy was dead and we just didn't hear or see it cause it wasn't relevant enough to mention. But Dawn wants all this adult respect while being completely tone-deaf to the real struggles of Buffy trying to support her financially.
