I think it generally goes without saying that this is a fairly controversial, and unliked episode for a number of reasonable reasons.

What are your thoughts on the bathroom scene?

My main problem with it is that, especially for season six, which dealt with heavy realism instead of the supernatural, S6 just focuses the last arc on Willow. S7 it gets mentioned here and there.

As someone who has experienced SA, I think the writers should feel an embarrassed they didn’t do a better job. Not particularly with the scene per se, but all the episodes after.

Where are the nightmares/flashbacks? The potential uncomfortability of being alone with that person again. Also, being an officer, myself, I’ve dealt with my share of victims/survivors; I cannot think of a one of them even if their attacker was completely paralyzed, would ever bring their teenage sister to them THE NEXT DAY.
