Currently watching Graduation Day part 2, and Faith being in a coma brings up a very good question. Let’s just say for the sake of this scenario, Buffy never died, and no other slayer has been called yet. She’s the one and only, as intended. Now what if Buffy were the one to somehow slip into a coma? If she’s in a coma she obviously can’t fight the forces of darkness. Would the council come in and kill her to continue the slayer line? Would they work some magic in order to wake her up? Wait it out, maybe? Or would they just let the world fall into chaos because it must be “destiny”?

Whh should new watchers of the she be punished because they weren't around in the 90s?
