Nope.

If you state that that Xander displays inappropriate and creepy behaviour in every episode then you must either be a pilgrim or very innocent.

I have watched the series a hundred times. I have never found him to be the least but inappropriate or creepy.

But you do you.

People say "90s problematic" like it means anything.

Do you think it's all pure and sunshine and roses in 2023? People are having sex on TV. There's wall to wall hard core porn all over the net. Women are raped every single minute of every single day.

Now you tell me if an innocent glance at Buffy dressing is "problematic," even you take the aforementioned into consideration.

Xander Harris was a 14/15 year old boy when the show started. If you think he isn't a real life representation of what a pre-pubescent is then I'd recheck your memory bank.

Every single character does bad things. Acts selfish and cruel. If you're going to call out Xander's faults then you have to do it with every character. And trust me, Xander is a Saint when it comes to the rest.

And how about Cordelia calling Angel "Salty goodness"? Not sexist? How about willow yelling at Xander for going out with Cordy? How about Willow trying to make out with Oz in an attempt to make Xander jealous?

If you think what Xander is going is creepy then just wait to see what Spike does. What willow does.

Might put things into perspective.

You don't think Buffy likes Xander?

Buffy:

"You're my strength, Xander. You're the reason I made it this far. I trust you with my life."

OK. Are we talking about Xander or Joss? That's the main issue here. People are blurring the lines between Nick and Joss with Xander.

Was Xander based on Joss? Yes, but to a point. The humour and the geekieness. That's it. Xander is much more of a gentleman than Joss.

Joss is a dick. We all know this. He's a bully and a compulsive love cheat. I don't recall Xander bullying anyone or being above cheat (unless you could the Willow situation, but that was a two way thing)

Marti Noxon had more creative control over the show, with regards to writing and story development. Last time I checked she was a woman

Again, I feel that some fans are using the history of Joss and Nick to beat Xander with. It's unfair.

Sure is.

Cordelia is nasty and rude for 3 seasons. Willow rapes willow, skins a guy alive. She gets into a car crash and almost kills dawn. She almost destroys the world. Buffy skips town, leaving her friends in mortal peril. Anya is a serial killer.

And yet Xander, who none of the BtVs ladies had one bad thing to say about him, when Anya was trying to coerced them into making a wish against him, is the bad guy.

Sure. Good luck with that.

It's astounding how people are being clouded by sexism, and the ironic this that they're trying to denounce sexism.

And Willow was in a relationship with Oz. Why does Xander get all the blame? How about when Willow wanted to make out with Oz to make Oz jealous? Willow was in love with Xander for years. Would this be the case if he was a sexual predator?

I didn't ignore anything. When the revelations about Joss came out, I didn't watch Buffy for a year or two. I was so disgusted.

OK. What did Xander do that was misogynistic? Are you entirely sure that you know what that word means? Xander, all through the series, was a gentleman.

He said that Buffy was his hero. That Dawn was extraordinary and that Willow was his best friend. These aren't the actions of someone who hates women.

All this "Xander is a misogynist" is just a fake narrative that isn't based on reality. It's mass hysteria based on lies, like the Salem Witch Trials, or trial by media.
