Posted this to ‘home cinema’ and was told my projector was crap and to buy more expensive shit. To me, what I bought was expensive. I don’t have a lot and this was a treat. Terrible snobbery! so trying here instead.

I live in the UK and bought my projector in January.

First I bought this splitter:

It drops continuously. So I replaced it with this one:

This one lasted an hour before it started dropping too. Now, as I was so politely informed, it’s not fancy! That aside, is there anything I can do to get this going? My cables aren’t over long and seated properly.

Would replacing my console hdmi cables with gold ones help? I don’t mind getting better ones if so, even if I can’t spend hundreds.

could it be a compatibility issue. Or something else entirely? Thanks for any constructive help.
