Stretching things

Post Body

I have a good amount in my pantry and freezer. But I am not working and trying to stretch things. Currently living off of savings and not much longer till that runs out. I have gone to a local food pantry a few times. Each time I can count on baking mix, canned fruit and veggies, milk, and 2 meats. Obviosuly some random stuff also. Never bread/flour/sugar. I think that is weird.

The baking mix. I have been making and freezing walffles. MY S/O eats them for breakfast. My 22 year old loves them when he comes home from work at 4 am. Myself? I would wrap this around a hot dog. Add sloppy joe mix. Eat as a breakfast. Would be great topped with pulled pork.

Took me about 30 minutes and I made 12 waffles to freeze. For anyone with a family or school aged kids. This and sausage would be easy and cheap to make all week!

Also you can add Cinnamon/vanilla, nutella. cocoa powder and sugar, sprinkles.

Enjoy.
