Making my own pizza for myself (ingredients going bad?)
Post Body

I'm trying to get "away" from these fresh pizzas at my store as they are delicious but expensive and make it myself instead but I'm worrying about preventing the ingredients from going bad as I can only make on pizza at the time and have only a very small freezer.

I think I would prepare the dough before and freeze it, same with the cheese that I can freeze too. But what about the pizza sauce (tomato)? I can only but about 14 oz/400ml at the time which I think is too much for just one pizza, maybe even too much for two? I only make the pizza for myself.

Would love to hear some experience from others? Questions:

  • How long can you keep the (tomato) sauce in the fridge?
  • How much sauce do you need for one pizza?
