Sandbox not yielding consistent results

I am trying to figure out a setup for wave 98 and 99 on chimps. I setup sandbox mode with the exact setup in CHIMPS mode and will not lose a single life in sandbox where in chimps I will lose every time. I have monkey knowledge off for sandbox mode yet the same tower setup will destroy every balloon every time on the same wave. Not sure if this would be a bug or not. Has anyone else experienced this?
