We have noticed several scam attempts at impersonating the BCHN team. Please note that all of our official communication channels can be found on https://bitcoincashnode.org, and be very careful about interacting with anyone who claim to be us but not listed there.

Remember, never give out your private keys or seed words to anyone or any website online, and reject all unsolicited approaches asking you to send coins. If in doubt, contact us through Slack or Telegram links at our official page.

If I may add some more advice:

always transact small (tiny) amounts first on any site or with new software
if in doubt about some site/service, ask around about legitimacy or experience from others first
when running software you download from somewhere (even from BCHN official channels) -- verify the checksums or better still, the signatures. And raise your voice if something doesn't match.
if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
