The community should not take a cavalier attitude to the use of the term 'Bcash'. It is trademarked since 2012.

I really urge everyone to stop using the 'bcash' term (I know that most people in this sub don't anyway).

But for the record:

It is the trademarked name of a Brazilian payment system. It has been trademarked since 2012 by Buscapé Company Informacao e Tecnologia LTDA.

Bitcoin Cash deliberately avoids association with this term. We should discourage others from infringing on it as well.

A company has built up a payment infrastructure using this name, and they should get some respect for it.

I am not sure why some exchanges and users of legacy Bitcoin (BTC) did not get the memo yet.
