Looking at what's happening in the space - with Bitcoin Core basically a settlement layer with dollars (not dollar) transaction costs - I'd like to know what purse.io will be doing.
We see Yours.Org, openbazaar, etc... moving away from Legacy Bitcoin ( and towards things like Bitcoin as a payment network, etc ). I know that purse.io is/has been supporters of core in the past, but with that network grinding to a halt and the recent smear campaigns of folks whom I thought were fully ok'ed by core... Anyone think that the purse.io team might be considering their options?
I loved using purse.io - and basically stopped out of a poor user experience maybe six months back. What happened - I'd buy something, only when I paid - by the time the transaction got through, I'd be off by a couple of cents (frustrating). Then it boiled down to paying the extra couple of cents network fees (which were insane then - and completely insane now). So I had to pull my funds out of my wallet and just see what would come of everything.
Don't get me wrong - I love the idea of purse, using Bitcoin to pay for stuff, from a store that I already understand... Brilliant. I told everyone, as people already feel safe using Amazon. Now I don't recommend, due to the above. I'd like to be able to start using them again - and not have to use coinbase as paypal v2 to do so.
TL;DR: Think Purse.io will natively support other coins?
