I’m watching through the series on DVD with my kids for their first time. We’ve just come to what is I’m pretty sure nobody’s favorite episode, and there’s a line that really got up my bat-butt.
Batman brings the “leprechaun” kid back to the Batcave. He tells Alfred to take care of the kid and Alfred replies, “Me?! B-but I know nothing of children!”
Alfred Pennyworth says that. To Batman. Who is Bruce Wayne. Who Alfred Pennyworth raised after his parents were murdered. When Bruce Wayne was a child. Which is why he became Batman.
Bad job, Jules Dennis and Richard Mueller.
