I attended the Houston show he had last night, and it was my first time seeing him live, but does anyone else feel he’s a boring and rather weak as a performer. His stage presence was so weird staying at the back of the stage mostly and singing away from the crowd majority of the time.
The setup was nice, and his catalog kept him afloat, but seeing that performance makes me feel like one time was enough. He does sound like the actual tracks live, but he doesn’t really sing a whole verse to any of the songs the whole night. For an R&B show that’s just unacceptable in my book.
