best addons to enhance?

I am looking for the best stuff that can run with brutal doom to make the game the best it can be graphics mods, gameplay mods, etc. I currently use the doom metal pack to revamp the music. I am looking for stuff that will make the game in general better, not really looking for wads, but if there are any that are really good go ahead and let me know about them.
