Yello everybody! I'm new to this posting thingy, but I'll give my best! I've been spending a lot of time here on reddit trying to find suggestions on where to go (off the touristy route) when I travel.
I'm going to spend 3 days in Bruges and other 3 in Brussels, and I'm a little overwhelmed with what our friend internet has to say about that... I'm trying to avoid spending my days stuck in museums, and I rather spend my time sight seeing and getting lost in the streets of the city.
I think I'm kinda happy with my Bruges itinerary, but the Brussels one... Holly molly. I have seen a lot of people here saying Brussels its a fun place, but many recommend a day trip to Ghent, because Brussels its smaller than it looks. Is it true? Besides the incredible amount of museums, what would you guys suggest doing? I'm going to stay in Brussels from 18 to 21 September. Is there any fun activities running during those days? Concerts perhaps?
Is it 3 days to long in Brussels? Also, any recommendations on preferably cheap good places to eat and drink are highly appreciated!
Thank you so much! ❤
