Is the Balti Triangle worth the hype?

Whenever people bring up where are the best places to have a curry within Brum, inevitably this area is always seems to be brought up, though when I've looked at the reviews at some of the surrounding restaurants, they seem to get a bit of a mixed response so I'm a bit on the fence on going there, what are your experiences there, and would you recommend it?
