Edit (3/8): Iām no longer looking for anyone new. I have an official boyfriend now (thanks to this post!) Thank you to everyone who was kind! I met and got to know plenty of amazing people!
Hi everyone. I've been debating making my own post on here for years now but I finally decided to just do it lol. I'm a 21f 4th year who lives in the UAs and I'm looking for a serious long-term relationship. Some basic facts about me are that I'm 5'9'' (5'10'' with my favorite boots on haha), biracial (Black/East Asian), a poli sci major, and that I have an animal living with me (she's my world honestly). Personality wise, I'm very shy and a bit awkward in real life (social anxiety aaa) but once I get used to you I am very chaotic and goofy lol. I'm pretty inexperienced with relationships so I am still discovering what I do and don't like in terms of dating behaviors, and I am working on establishing stronger boundaries with myself and others. I really dislike moving fast in relationships and I'd love to have the opportunity to take the time to slowly get to know someone on a deep personal level. My interests and hobbies include reading, listening to music, watching horror movies, playing video games, animals in general but especially ponies (lol), learning about history (I loveee ancient history), sculpting, and language learning. I've also become more in touch with spirituality and I've been exploring that recently as well.
What I'm looking for in a partner is someone who values clear communication, honesty, patience, mutual respect, and someone I can call my friend as well as my boyfriend. I want to feel welcomed by you when I send you a message everyday or every other day instead of being treated like I am bothering you. I don't have strong height preferences but I would prefer dating someone who is 5'7'' (I just hope my height wouldn't be an issue to you then haha). I would also like to get to know a UCLA student around my age (20-23), and I am open to everyone but I have a slight preference for latino, white, and black men. I want to emphasize that I'm not seeking a hookup, fwb, or anything immediately sexual like that. I want an actual relationship with someone that would hopefully continue after graduation. I apologize in advance if I can't get to everyone, but I would love to be friends still even if we don't work out in a romantic sense. To make it easier, please send me a chat telling me your age, major, height, ethnicity, your hobbies/interests, and what about my post made you want to message me. If things go well maybe we could hang out sometime next week. Just please be respectful, I'm trying my best here haha. Thanks for reading and it would be cool to hear from you. (:
