Danger Level Order?

I don't mean straightforward 0-5 but is there a set order to wotk through each level with the tatos?
So far I've done a large chunk of the tatos available to me on D0 but I know some work between with weapons that need unlocking at higher levels (Golem & Spiky Shield).
So should I look to push through the higher D Levels with 1 or 2 different tatos to get the extra ones unlocked?
