During the Figgis story, one of my favorite stories of the series, the Squad decides to send Rosa into the state prison to try and get close to Maura Figgis, Jimmy’s sister. As we all know, Rosa goes in and she’s in the prison for all of 2 seconds before an inmate notices her as the cop who arrested her. Her cover is blown, and the rest is history as this leads to Amy going undercover instead.
Here’s the problem, the prison is in Texas. Not only do they say that before Rosa goes in, but they confirm it again later in the story. It’s further confirmed when Amy and Charles finally leave the prison, they have to fly back to New York.
So it’s not even a mistake. It’s just strange. Why would Rosa have arrested a woman that was in the Texas state penitentiary?
