Toxic Masculinity Leads So Many Of Us to Question Our Friendships and to Keep us From True Bromances. Open to hearing stories and thoughts around this.
Post Body

50 m Hawaii here. Married with child. Typical "American" life but on an island in the most remote part of the world. That said, the more I reflect on my life I think about all the ways true bromance (and we all have our definition around this) is discouraged. From family and friends to even society. And while there are some cutesy movies that embellish this, it always comes with some kind of qualifier (we have to be ultra masculine and say "no homo" or some bullshit). What happened to just being able to get close to people, sharing stories, and being authentic?
