Im in my early twenties and i had a doctors appointment the nurse assistant comes in a does her checks and she’s pretty cute ngl (early twenties too) She seemed interested in me and asked for my number. So i gave it to her thinking nothing of it. She texted saying she wanted to go out for lunch and so we did and she payed for that which is fine sure go right ahead. We talked and we laughed. Same day she wants to go out for dinner and when the bill comes she snatched the bill and payed, again me thinking okay maybe she’s just being generous. I’m thinking nothing more of it. She offers to relax at her house and we just hung out had snacks and we ended up falling asleep on her bed no more than that. We cuddled and held hands and i even feel her kiss my head but that’s all. I went home in the morning. We ended up texting pretty frequently and FaceTiming you know the shfeel. Days gone by and she slowly distances herself and becomes dry and bland in her texts. She doesn’t call no more or anything. Me very confused thinking i did something and finally got her attention in a text saying how she doesn’t want to date anyone because she’s working on herself. She only wants friends.

I’m pretty much over it but like it just doesn’t seem right to me how she went from being all love and dovey to being a person who doesn’t want anyone.
