Difficulty sleeping at night with a tib/fib break. Any tips?
Post Body

Hi guys,

I've looked on reddit and elsewhere on the internet but I haven't found much help. I'm currently recovering from a broken tibia and fibula and unfortunately I can't sleep well at all. I broke my leg 10 days ago and it's currently in a cast. My doctor told me to sleep on my back as much as possible in order to keep my leg elevated but it's a really unnatural position from me to sleep in since I usually sleep on my side. I take my pain meds (tylenol with codeine) and melatonin at night which help me fall asleep but not stay asleep. It feels like I spend half the night feeling tired af with my eyes closed but unable to sleep soundly.

Has anyone else found sleeping to be quite difficult as they recover?
