I’m rewatching for the 100000th time and the end always leaves me with questions especially when Dennis goes to meet with jacks parents after finding out he died. His dad mentions Jack always saying him and ENNIS were gonna go up and fix their ranch one day, until one day he brought another man (who I’m assuming is the neighbor Jack was seeing) and he has such a disappointed look in his eye. And the way jacks mom looks at ennis with so much remorse like she knows he’s just lost the love of his life. So now I’m wondering was Jack just open about being gay with his parents? He’s clearly the less reserved one In regards to his sexuality but still seems odd he told his parents
