Brittany wasted no time in creating an IG account for Niko. (January 14th, 2018) By February of 2019, people noticed that Niko was MIA.
Exactly! Dogs when they go through the puppy phase are really, really difficult. It’s a lot of cleaning up messes when they are learning. My son has a German Shepherd at my mom’s (we share custody, it’s complicated) and it was traumatizing getting through the puppy months for my mother lol. They put in the work though and he is a well-behaved dog now. Very very smart.
I have a rescue Chihuahua, so I didn’t have to worry about all of that. He came pre-house trained lol.
I bet as soon as Nico grew out of the puppy size, but still had the puppy brain is about the time she probably got rid of him. While he still needed patience and teaching.
I’m not. She bought him herself, for my son that she took custody of when I was very young.
You can ask why my mother is taking care of my son if you are curious. That makes more sense.

Especially since pits get euthanized the most. Right now in Houston, animal control is not even picking up strays. They are too full. Everywhere is euthanizing but we have animals starving on the street. I see it in Facebook groups all the time. Some people will leave food and water out for them, but dont want to pick them up because there’s nowhere to take them and legally they don’t want to be financially responsible. It’s bad in Houston :(
