Why is my little mad suddenly so talkative?

The past few weeks he’s started talking to me non stop. We have full conversations. He’s never done this before 🤷🏻

For the first few months my BSH would open his mouth like he was meowing but no sound would come out. He'd just open his mouth at you. Then little squeaks appeared, now he's quite chatty, whether it be demands for attention, for food or when he loses us in the house (such as when he leaves the living room and goes upstairs, then starts calling out and comes running when we reply).
