Someone has left two 6 packs of hot cross buns in the communal hall. Not sure whether to steal them or not.

Not sure how long they've been there but they appear to be fresh. Only noticed them as the delivery guy from my pharmacy pointed them out. I share the hallway with just one other flat and the occupants have been in and out a few times but the buns remain in the hall. Should I take them, or do you reckon they've been coughed on?
N.B - I've not had hot cross buns in ages so I'm quite tempted.
