Caught the postman shoving the 'sorry we missed you' card through my door. I wanted to say something sarcastic like how I understood why they didn't bother to bring the parcel to the door (8 dresses, 2 tops and a pair of shoes) but stayed silent while they lied to me about knocking the door.

Lies. She had to spend 5 minutes digging the huge parcel out the back of the van and by the time I'd opened the door and shouted to her she hadn't even got across the road yet. It was an arranged flipping redelivery after the last lazy sod couldn't be bothered to try and deliver it either.
