I've been to 3 supermarkets today and all 3 had run out of chives. I am therefore declaring we live in "The Great Chive Shortage of 2018".

I remember this because I have just come here from Poland where courgettes (and other veggies) are only available seasonally and I was astonished that BBC panics over lack of them in freaking January.
