The national speed limit seems to have been reduced, but no one informed me.

It would appear that every other driver on the road is of the opinion that the speed limit on a single carriageway is 50mph, whilst on a dual carriageway, it's 60mph. My copy of the highway code insists that the NSL sign implies I can in fact do 60/70, but I can't help but think that I am actually wrong and everyone is being too polite to tell me.
