Altberg Defenders vs Iturri Patrol Boot

So, been issued new boots (given the iturri patrol boot.) Have an ex coming up soon and debating whether to use them for the green stuff (after breaking them in), or sticking with my altberg defenders.
The iturris are really comfortable, but most people I speak to seem to use them as a base boot rather than (lol) a patrol boot.
What's the thought then? Anyone have a pair? Whats better, altberg defenders or iturri patrol boots?
