How about we change the approach a whole lot and allow some personal responsibility into it.
If you are an “at risk” group, it’s your responsibility to protect yourself until this is over. If you have asthma don’t go out. Don’t go to work. Stay home. Isolate. Don’t have friends and family over. You won’t catch it.And those of us who are not at risk - continue normal life. Yes we will all get it. And recover from it and it will spike fast and be over. And when it’s over, those at risk can open their doors and come out.
In the meantime we are stopping everyone from moving in the hopes of saving those who should take a heck of a lot more personal responsibility.
It’s like schools and peanut allergies. Why ban peanuts for the whole school to protect the one student with the allergy? Instead, make that kid responsible for his own safety
