Have a few questions I’d like to ask you lot about me joining the reserves (4 para most likely).
So I’m 24 now, I done 2 years from 16-18 and unfortunately got MD’d shortly after training and hit a massive low mentally from that, I ended up getting back into fitness and fell in love with bodybuilding mainly, this lead to me competing and using PEDs for years pretty much up until now (blood work done regularly, coached and clued up doctor) I’m fully aware I’ve most likely shut down my natural production of testosterone and will need to be on TRT for life.
will this effect my chances of joining back up? Mainly purely on the fact of I wouldn’t want to get CDT’d and flagged for PEDs while on TRT. Ive also got a few mates in and they say they pretty much never really get tested unless it’s extremely obvious when it comes to PEDs.
I also have a question concerning tattoos, I currently have my hands, side of my neck and a tiny tiny face tattoo (I wouldn’t mind getting rid of the face one), I spoke to a reserve today and he said it should be fine as long as they aren’t offensive in any way so just thought I’d ask here for more opinions.
Q1- will TRT affect my chance of joining? Q2- how often are CDTs for reserves? Q3- will my tattoos stop my from joining?
My fitness is overall very good as I’ve been training properly for years, cardiovascular fitness is also very good and I hit the mark for the tests just now.
