Hi guys. So I've actually taken a job at Steria/ NHS Shared Business Service. The company deals with all admin in the NHS, and individually you may be looking at invoices and talking with other departments. It's a solid job doing a lot of good and it's a foot in the door for an IT, NHS, admin or financial career. Oh, and reddit isn't blocked at work.
The only catch is that they are only hiring sporadically through Brook Street recruitment, but it's a really good job with a great environment. It's a temp full time role, and I was told in training that they normally offer a permanent contract at about 6 months if you can guarantee you won't leave them 2 weeks down the line. It was £8.21/hour when I was hired but I guess that's liable to change.
This is much more of an fyi than anything else, don't contact me to apply for the role, get down to Brook Street and register.
