Avonmouth scrap metal fire

Well that smells delightful doesn’t it.
I dunno how to link to a news story about it without using the Bristol Post which I hate, but there’s a massive scrap metal fire burning for about 15 hours as of this post, apparently deep within a pile of scrap in Avonmouth. If you’re near Bristol you can probably smell it.
Are we absolutely sure there’s no toxic nasty bullshit in the smoke? It smells pretty terrible.. scrap metal isn’t exactly sterile is it.
