Now I seriously have no complaints with this. I’ve been on board since the app was introduced back in May. My thing is that very few retailers are displaying one.
Yesterday I went to Bunnings, Aldi, The Chemist Warehouse, Woolies and my local baker. Only the bakery and Woolies had the QR code on display ! I thought that we had to scan when entering shopping centres as well as food outlets and entertainment venues (cinemas etc).
The weekend before last we had a getaway to TAS and every single cafe, store, supermarket and outdoor market required you to sign in with a QR code before entering or being served ! At the markets, they had entry points where you signed in and showed proof to attendants that you’d done it before we could walk into the open air event.
Why aren’t we already having to sign in everywhere ? I see it’s not mandatory into the 9th in most places outside of cafes and restaurants …. What the hell ? This is the best way to track movement quickly and they’re not making it mandatory for another fortnight basically ?
I just don’t get it.
