A bit of context to understand why I'm asking this - when I was 14 my foot became infected and was amputated to save my life. It's 13 years later and while I've told this story countless times, I always worry I may be missing some vital details. I had trouble understanding how what had happened to me happened at all, and now that I'm older I feel I have a better chance of understanding the medical reasoning that resulted in having my foot removed.

But I have no idea how to access or request copies of the files so I'm turning to Reddit in the hope someone can help me figure out the process of this. I'm happy to answer any questions and hope to hear from someone who knows how this works, thanks for reading.
