I feel like there is a certain disconnect between how many Brexiters see things and how the rest of the world sees them.

Now, this is certainly a post where I am being Somewhat sarcastic, still trying not to strand that far from the truth. If it is too much to stay, feel free to remove the topic Mods.

Also is about specific things that are said. There is really no need to feel personally touched by things because you voted for Brexit but you are at the same time not engaging in these talking points, if that is teh case you are clearly not the target of this.

I hope that while this is somewhat poking fun at brexit, it can also spark some conversation

• No legal obligation = Our word has no value. Whenever you enter an agreement with us do not believe anything we say until is bound by a faustian contract for our soul and do not try to offer us any flexibility. Our only use for flexibility is to try to weasel out from every thing we ever promised.

• Take back our Sovereignty = I don't like to work with others. The only thing that satisfies me is when it is my way or the highway.

• The EU is undemocratic = I never bothered to vote at the european elections, nor I ever learned how they work, but for someone who never spent a single minute getting involved with it I am sure quite opinionated.

• We want to do FTA with everybody ASAP = Fuck regulations. we don't need them. And fuck coordination as well. Why cannot the rest of the world just stop having so many rules and needs and grievances and just give us everything we ask them as soon as we ask them just because we are the UK?

• The Globalist agenda = Doesn't it suck that most countries in the west came to the same realization that people, regardless their skin color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, place of birth should have the same rights as everyone else?

• If you create a border with Ireland you will compromise the peace = I'd like to enter in a bank, point a gun to my own head and say that if they don't give me all the money I want I will kill myself. Clearly if they don't give me the money they are the murderers.

• The EU is trying to punish us = We said that we will leave the EU and the EU is acting as if we are indeed going to leave and we are no longer their primary concern. This is not how we planned this.

• Everyone in the world will be happy to make a deal with the UK = Everyone will get to the street once a bank truck loses a few bags of money and they are just lying on the ground waiting to be picked up. That does not mean that the bank should be happy about it.

• See, the EU is uniting. we got out right in time = We were risking becoming a superpower. Luckily we jumped off right in time to relegate ourselves to historical oblivion.
