How much is too much?

I’m new to breathwork, maybe doing about a cumulative hour per day for the last few days.

Last night before bed I was doing a 4-7-8 rhythm and I started to experience tetany.

This morning my arms are still sore. My understanding is that the pain will subside, but how long does it take? Also, in terms of transience, is it correct that more breathwork will push me beyond the pain stage? Will this keep happening until I’ve gone past it, and how long will that take?
