When did you get your period?

I’m a first time parent and breastfeeding our 6.5 month old. He’s started solids (mostly allergens) but otherwise is still EBF. We want to start trying for a second early next year when baby is 14ish months. I still haven’t gotten my period so wondering when others got their periods. Did anyone need to wean because they wanted to start trying for another baby?

I don’t want to wean because we want to try for a second but I know it can take a few months to regulate once your period starts again. We also don’t want to wait too long because I’m turning 35 this year.
