I’m realizing that since I’ve been diagnosed with BC that being young is really a huge pain in my ass. I’m stuck in limbo at the moment because I can’t seem to get my oncotype testing approved . One place won’t do it because they won’t accept my insurance **rolls eyesand the other lab won’t do it because I’m not post-menopausal, uh hello, I have cancer!!! *** even harder eye roll***** My cancer team is trying their best to get it done because they need a score. It’s absolutely absurd. My oncologist said that if they can’t get it approved, they will have no choice but to offer and start chemotherapy and there is no way I’m going to say no . Has anyone ever encountered something similar?
