I was diagnosed with breast cancer back in November and just had my surgery yesterday!!!! Yay! I had a lumpectomy with reduction and sentinel node removal. I do have a job but didn’t get on our health insurance quick enough . So I went to my public health office and I was able to get on a service for woman who have been diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancer. I picked the plan that I wanted that covered 100% of all my Costs.
This included all the testing I had done and including my plastic surgery. The health care plan I chose included plastic surgery should I need it, which I did. I’m in Arizona and I was shocked and truly blessed I was able to come across a program like this in my state.
Now there are eligibility requirements, for example your yearly income but it doesn’t hurt to find out if this is something you may need help with.
