Life after chemo. Tamoxifen and other things

Post Body

So I'm a few months out of treatment and I'm now just taking Tamoxifen which had been it's own little nightmare. I've notice that my mental health is worse than it was while I was in active treatment. Anyone else? I thought maybe it was just tamoxifen, but that seems to have leveled off and I'm still not really ok.

I'm insanely worried about recurrence and can't go a minute without worrying about it. My doctor told me my risk was low and immediately wanted my port out and yet here I am just wondering if every ache or pain is a problem. And yes I've talked to a therapist but do people ever get past this shit? It's so exhausting and I have a 9 year old to raise.

Please tell me its not just me.
