Side effects of chemo

Post Body

Hello. My mom got her tumour removed back in July and the cancer did not spread and it was Stage II breast cancer. She had HR 2, and from what I understand that’s a more aggressive type of cancer. So, now they are doing chemo and radiation as a precautionary thing so the cancer won’t spread. However, some bizarre side effects such as nose bleeds and acne are occurring. My mom is also mainly tired most of the time and she’s had a little hair loss. But so far no other severe side effects but what can my mom do to perk herself up a bit and feel more normal? What can I do to help her get her energy back up? I know chemo is a very painful process and she will be tired but how can I help alleviate the side effects and what she do?

She’s done 3 rounds out of 12, so we’re a quarter of the way there.
