Have you noticed if your chemo symtoms have gotten worse the longer your treatment goes on ? Or have they stayed the same ? I'm entering another month of my weekly chemo treatment . Hope everyone is having a nice day ❤️
I’m 3 days out from second round of TC (only need 4 rounds). First round I was a lot more fatigued and seemed to have a lot more symptoms. My chemos are on Wednesdays. Friday afternoon until Saturday afternoon seems to be the worst of it until I start to feel a little more normal again.
Second round doesn’t seem as bad so far (I got 12 hours of sleep last night…so I’m sure that helped). I also followed a few tips from different forums that helped a lot. I started hydrating more heavily in the week before chemo, started moisturizing my skin, lips, even the inside of my nose with Aquaphor &!tea tree oil days before chemo, and also started taking Claritin for bone pain a few days in advance. Sucked on frozen grapes during the infusion. Added Extra Strength Tylenol, Tylenol PM and hair fibers (Toppik) to the routine & I’m feeling better! Physically and emotionally.
The hair loss has gotten worse despite cold calling and that’s been the toughest part for me so far.
Have also been curious about this though so thanks for posting!
