TC girlie here too! And cold capping with Paxman. I’m 18 days post first round. My second (of 4 total) is this coming Wednesday. Mine started to shed on day 15, but nothing crazy. Just more shed than usual. However, it has increased since so I’m now shedding maybe double what my normal pre chemo shed would be when I brush my hair in the morning and evening. So quadruple (ish) the usual pre cancer shed.

I’m SO anxious it’s almost paralyzing. I keep dreading the big shed or finally pulling out a clump rather than the 10ish strands I get with a pass through now. I think this would be easier if I didn’t have an ounce of hope that I will keep my length and just thin out all over, BUT I have my honeymoon this winter and I want to have nice hair for it 😞

My scalp is itchy though. I’m right there with you! I also read on the Paxman site that you can wear a surgical cap (that sexy pre surgery hair net) to help cover bald spots if you don’t have enough hair to cover them while cold capping. I think I’ll continue even if I end up shaving my head so my hair grows back faster.

Wish we could fast forward this bit. I can’t wait for end of the year holidays!
