Post Body

Hi babes, I’ve got 10 days before the start of chemo girl summer 🤮

I’m by myself most of the time, which I normally enjoy, but I’m just here, living in my head, overwhelmed and shut down.

So rather than stewing, what can I be doing?

Anything I should stock up on so I don’t have to fuss with it later?

Anything you wish you would have done in advance?

What about ideas for fun stuff that isn’t gonna zap what little energy I have?

ETA: Hi darlings, I did my first chemo yesterday and wanted to give you all a giant shout out for the time and love you put into your detailed responses, I was prepared for everything thanks to your suggestions! You helped me and so many newcomers like myself so much, marvelous human beings every one of you 🩷🩷🩷

Oh, and over the counter meds. Talk to your MO but mine had me stock up on Pepcid AC, extra strength Tylenol and Claritin to help mitigate some of the side effects

Yesss ginger chews and lots of water! I get an off brand, less expensive Liquid IV from Amazon and start drinking those a couple days before chemo
