I had a 1.8 “well circumscribed” tumor and I opted for a skin sparing/ nipple sparing DMX with immediate reconstruction using spacers. Surgery went great, surgeon seemed pleased, margins were clear, and didn’t suspect I’d have to do chemo, but oncologist sent off for Oncotype and it came back a 54 🤦🏾♀️. It also called me triple negative. My biopsy had my ER at 60% and PR 0%. I see my oncologist next week and I’m sure she’s going to recommend chemo. I’m curious what chemo has looked like for similarly situated people.
