I had astigmatism probably from a very young age but only got glasses in my 8th grade when I finally realized I can't see clearly and told my parents. Beacause I had very bad astigmatism even with glasses I suffered a lot and it got so bad this year after my 2nd baby I got Lasik done and it changed my life. Coming to my 3 year old i wanted him get tested as i was suspecting he might have it and yup he has it in both eyes and need glasses full time. On grand scheme of things I know its not a big deal, I am glad that it got caught early but at the same time I feel like a failure for passing him this, I don't want him to suffer, I keep thinking if other kids might tease him for wearing glasses and he is so damn young for this extra burden. Thank you for hearing me out.
