So we get an invite to a 3 year olds birthday. Ah ok yes let's go and Boy can spend time with the kids outside of daycare and hopefully I can meet a few moms of the kids he likes. Ok. I rsvp yes.
Ah shit. I have to bring a present. I find this SO STRESSFUL. I do not want to bring this kid a frozen doll or a toy she is going to use for 20 minutes. I do not want to bestow plastic crap upon this nice parent. Here's what I want to do: make her a craft kit with random craft stuff and glue and let her go to town. Then it gets recycled in a few weeks.
Tell me: would you think that was a weird shitty present? What are your go to gifts for preschoolers?
Haaaaalp. I hate buying presents for kids I barely know.
