My son's school emails me between 3-6x A DAY. It's to the point where I am so fatigued trying to process every single one that I've stopped reading altogether.

It never used to be like this. I used to only get emails regarding payments, newsletters or to set up meetings. Now I get them for pointless junk like notifying me of how an assembly/cultural thing went, congratulating a certain class or organization for cleaning the school field or going to a swamp or whatever, pictures from my son's classroom without him in them. Oh my God, who the hell cares?!

This is on top of checking planners, homework, etc. It's too much to ask me to be interested in everything everyone in the school does. I now automatically ignore any emails from the school and that's not good. I've missed stuff before. But I'm so burnt out by all the random nonsense they send me, I no longer have the energy to discern between that and important school correspondence. Burnt out I say!
